Editorial

George Scott — Editor

George, has been writing about bikes for a decade and riding them for much longer. He's a road cyclist at heart and is happiest in the mountains, even if he can't climb them particularly quickly. Now he's venturing off-road, buying a gravel bike and dabbling in mountain biking.

Rob Weaver — Technical Editor-in-Chief

A riding encyclopedia of bikes and kit, Rob spends a lot of time travelling the world for the latest product launches and organising how and where all our gear gets tested. Super-stylish when it comes to riding, Rob has no fears when it comes to hitting the trails with the industry’s best.

Helen Cousins — Operations Manager

Outside of Helen's day job she can be found riding around the byways and off-road tracks of Wiltshire on her Liv Devote gravel bike. She also enjoys exploring local roads and even a bit of indoor cycling on Zwift while dreaming about sunnier climes in Mallorca.

Warren Rossiter — Senior Technical Editor

Approaching two decades of testing bikes, Warren can be found on a daily basis riding and exploring the road and off roads of Wiltshire’s Salisbury Plain in the UK. That’s when he’s not travelling the world to test the latest kit, components and bikes.

Alex Evans — Technical Editor

Alex used to live in Morzine where he developed a scary ability to make the steepest and gnarliest trails look like a walk in the park — occasionally resulting in bone crunching crashes at World Cup downhill races. Since hanging up his racing shoes Al can be found out on his trail bike.

Tom Marvin — Technical Editor

Tom has been mountain biking since the age of 13, with a love of fast and flowing trails, or steep, slow and tech. He spends most of his time riding trail and enduro bikes, but will happily dip his toes into the murky world of cross-country and gravel.

Jack Luke — Assistant Editor

Jack has been riding and fettling bikes for his whole life. Always in search of the hippest new niche in cycling, Jack is a self-confessed gravel dork and thinks nothing of bivouacking on a beach after work. Also fond of his tandem, Cecil, cup and cone bearings, skids and tan wall tyres.

Matthew Loveridge — Senior Writer

Matthew is an expert on bike tech and a lover of practical, beautifully-engineered things. Originally a roadie, he now dabbles in all disciplines and has tested a huge array of bikes, cycling kit and riding gear over his many years of testing.

Simon Bromley — Technical Writer

Simon is a writer and photographer who has been riding bikes for fun since he was a kid. He took a deep dive into road racing, crits and time trial culture in his twenties, but as a person of very little talent, he always looks to tech to compensate.

Felix Smith — Videographer

Having ridden mountain bikes through his teenage years, Felix found a new passion for riding on the road after a cycle tour through Japan. Since this eye-opening trip, Felix has been swept up in self-supported ultra-endurance cycling and is never far from his next big adventure.

Robyn Furtado — Videographer

Though she’s always been on a bike, Robyn really got into cycling after realising you could pedal across whole countries, and then entire continents. She discovered the joys of mountain biking while working in New Zealand and is always planning the next off-road adventure on her trusty hardtail.

Max Wilman — Videographer

Max has been riding bikes for as long as he can remember, and during his teenage years loved getting airborne, riding jumps and freeriding. He also built and rode trials in his local woods around the South Downs. After spending six months as a bike guide in Greece during the summer of 2018, he's now started riding enduro.
